Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the RemoteOps platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Service Description
RemoteOps is a field service management platform that provides phone-to-asset mapping, work order management, technician dispatch, inventory tracking, invoicing, and compliance documentation for critical infrastructure maintenance organisations. The Service is delivered as a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) accessible via web browsers and mobile applications.
Account Registration and Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions by users you invite to your organisation. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
Subscription and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. Prices are per technician seat as displayed on our pricing page. We may adjust pricing with 30 days advance notice. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial subscription only.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing field service operations. You must not: (a) attempt to access other tenants' data; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; (c) use the Service for illegal activities; (d) upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation; (e) exceed documented rate limits or abuse the API.
Intellectual Property
RemoteOps and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service during the subscription term. You retain all rights to your data uploaded to the Service.
Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and, for business customers, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA). The DPA forms an integral part of these Terms for any processing of personal data on your behalf.
Service Availability
We target 99.9% platform uptime measured monthly, excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Our liability for downtime is limited to service credits as described in the applicable service level agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RemoteOps's total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms with 30 days written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or fail to pay outstanding invoices. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. You may export your data within 30 days of termination. After 90 days, your data will be permanently deleted.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state where RemoteOps is established. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms with 30 days advance notice via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may terminate your subscription before the changes take effect.
